Court Anglican Church of Australia (above far left) was opened
on Sat 25th May 1985. It is a very popular church and services
many of our local residents. |
The station
was originally build in 1869 as Macquarie Station and renamed
in August 1883 as Ingleburn Station. It now services a large
community with a trip to Central in Sydney taking only 45 minutes
and a direct link from Ingleburn to the airport taking only
40 minutes. |

Bushland - Ingleburn Weir & Reserve |

 |
| In 1939
Ingleburn army camp was created and was used throughout world
war II for training military units and reinforcements. There
was also a large Army Hospital and Canteen. The camp was then
used for the army's 101 field workshop. |
Ingleburn
Weir & Reserve alongside the river appears to be dedicated
as early as 1870. The weir was constructed sometime between
1939 to 1940. It was a recognised swimming hole in the Ingleburn
area during the early 1950's and was a very popular picnic area
used by many of the local residents. |
