Always have your finance pre-approved prior to looking for your home, this will help all parties concerned when looking for the perfect home for you in your correct buyers price range.
Prior to looking at properties with an agent, try to make a short list of the inclusions you would like in your new property, for example, how many bedrooms, garage, pool, pergola. This makes it a little easier to find a home that you will love.
Once you have chosen a property, always organize a pest & building inspection as soon as possible.
Educate yourself to the market, look at all forms of media to see properties, prices etc, to make comparables.
If you dont locate a suitable property the first time you look, keep in contact with a few good agents at least once a week, they will be able to let you know if any new properties have come up that will suit your needs.
